THE IMPORTANCE OF A WELL DONE SHOW REEL

I always appreciate a well done show reel. 
It is useful to show me the acting skills of an actor, especially if I never had the chance to meet him. Moreover it allows me to present an actor to the director and show him the different roles he has performed.
But it has to be a well done show reel.
Please keep in mind that it has not the purpose to amuse us. The purpose is to show us what you can do. So don't try to do an artistic editing, just edit the best scenes in which you are in , possibly in different roles and add a card with the title of the film, the year and the name of the director. If you are able to perform in several languages, show it. If you have any particular skill (a sport or singing or playing an instrument) then show it. 
At the end of the reel you can edit some photos.
